Last night i checked out the new Blanc Burgers and Bottles over in the Plaza. The new location took over the old UNO pizza place and it’s a massive upgrade from the Westport location. ( which is now closed) The bar and seating areas are twice as spacious and the food is just as good. 4710 Jefferson Street is the new address.

I tired the bison burger which is crazy lean compared to beef burgers and comes topped with some melony pepper sauce that is sweet when you taste it and has good spicy aftertaste.

Instead of my usual sweet potato fries i tried the truffle fries. Super greasy…super salty and totally tasty. The don’t photograph so well as you can see below but they are tasty.

We had an over eager waiter who wanted to make sure that we remembered one thing. “The food is FANTASTIC!” i kid you not..he must have shared this revelation at least 4 times while we sat. Don’t get me wrong, i do love the food but, be easy son, let US tell you the food is fantastic…how bout that?

The one thing i don’t understand is why they bring out the sauces to your table so early. Even before you get your waters or beers…there is a double dipping set up of sauces that is brought to you. This happens EVERY time and i have never asked why. Am i supposed to savor the flavors via my fingers before the fries arrive? Please Blanc people…let me in on the secret of the early sauce…haha.
