Fire/Water posters for sale online…

These three posters by Matt Hawkins, Daniel “Lucid” Bartle and myself were printed for the recent Fire/Water fundraiser event to raise awareness and money to benefit the Sierra Club of America’s efforts to help clean up the mess left by the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

10% of the profits from these poster sales will go towards the Sierra Club and their clean up efforts.

Posters measure 11″ x 17″ and is printed on 110lb semi-gloss stock. Posters will fit easily in 11″ x 17″ prefab frame. Each poster is signed and ships flat.

Southwest road trip

Here are some of the cool pics from the trip.

We stopped in Armarillo for dinner at this place. The Big Texan. Home of the 72oz. steak challenge! You might have seen this place on that Man Vs. Food show on tv.

If you eat the 72oz steak, potato, dinner salad and a shrimp cocktail you win. Yes, you win your name up on the wall of fame and your dinner is free!

We saw this kid take out this challenge in like the 34 min. The proof is below!

WTFIT #3

Lately i’ve been making art just for the sake of the process or just to have something physical or document an idea. I am not sure what the end product will be, or how i will be able to sell it or even if anyone will care. But i still make stuff…can’t really stop. That’s what art school did to me i guess. Ha!

I decided to put together this zine to combine a lot of the photo projects I’ve been working on since April. There are 3 major photo segments in the zine. One with Crystal for the Urban Pin-up series and two related to the painted box project i did. The newest zine is 40 pages with a color cover and blk n wht pages. They are plastic wrapped and sealed with a few stickers and a coaster. Each Zine has a different doodle on the inside. As you can see below i drew a portrait of my Cat-a-tee. He’s usually beached on the chair and would pop gold fish like M&M’s if he could. haha.

I just uploaded a PDF version for you digi folks and if you are old school and would like a physical copy hit me up. I made only a couple dozen so they might go fast!

TEES event at METHOD

When I first learned about this TEES event i thought it was a simple trunk show. I was wrong…but not disappointed. The Method guys teamed up with a troop of Asian models for the night to show off my shirts and two other local brands, Lord and Barrel and Angry Ape. I was glad to get to mingle and meet some new and old faces before i headed out to FireFly for the late night dj set. I was also please to see the models didn’t cut / roll / fold or shred the shirts at the event. Haha. Last time i worked with some go-go dancers they cut the SIKE out of the front of the shirt and pinned them to their asses. Sounds kinda hot…but it wasn’t. Trust me. This event was waaay better.
